Position Summary

We’ve a great opportunity to join our Global Communications Team for Waters & Premium Beverages business.

As the Global Internal Communication Lead for Waters & Premium Beverages (NW&PB) you will help develop and implement the NW&PB Internal communications plans that support our business and employee engagement strategy across all markets. You will be engaging with our employees on key business priorities and initiatives to help drive performance. Inspiring and connecting our people to our new identity and purpose as we go through an exciting period of change and growth. Ensuring proactive engagement, alignment and supporting capabilities across all markets for Internal communication.

A day in the life of a Global Internal Communications Lead

As the Global Internal Communications Lead, you will advocate a positive employee experience where colleagues feel informed, connected, and inspired by the company and the work we do. Developing the internal communication agenda in a way that reflects and embeds our priorities, sets out our strategy and enhances our culture to make sure Nestlé Waters& Premium Beverages is a great place to be.

  • Develop and deliver an ongoing proactive programme of internal communications with NW&PB tone of voice that drives employee engagement and creates employee advocacy. (working with Head of External/Internal communication and agencies)

  • Manage and deliver internal communications plans and activities on a project-by-project basis to support business transformation activity, ensuring messages are accurate, clear and aligned with business needs to advance NW&PB strategic agenda
  • Execute plans at Global level and support markets to deliver their plans locally, via events and digital platforms. Leverage key opportunities or milestones by creating snackable & sharable content and cascading with local/global campaigns
  • Manage global NW&PB editorial calendar. Gathering inputs from all markets, brands and functions as well as Global level key moments.
  • Lead on Internal plan execution; virtual and physical e.g. social posting and digital assets [Workplace], video content, webcasts/ webinars [on TEAMS/ Other platforms], newsletters, business updates/reporting [using Populo and other tools], corporate events, people moves.
  • Develop copy and comms assets for roll out and execute from start to finish
  • Support Head of External and Internal Communications to manage delivery of external and internal executive outreach programme, through select events, media and LinkedIN profiles
  • Set and deliver Internal communications programme and work with Corporate Affairs and HR to support change management communications programme
  • Co-ordination of Zone/Market Community, sharing best practice and benchmarking.
  • Track to internal KPIs and targets, proposing adjustments to deliver expectations.
  • Review and support requirements to move from Workplace to Viva Engage
  • Manage Internal Communications global distribution lists (does this point need to be on? Its very ‘admin’)


What will make you successful?

The successful candidate will bring with them solid experience in Internal Communications at global level, within a fast-paced matrix organisation, and it goes without saying you will have exceptional communication skills with lots of energy and passion for delivery.

You will have had experience of supporting innovation in communications, collaborating with others using a variety of channels to communicate with different audiences. Including experience of working with varied stakeholders both internally and externally.

We expect you to have:
  • Demonstrable experience of leading innovation in communications, including using different channels to communicate with different audiences
  • A seasoned communicator who is comfortable providing counsel to senior-level executives
  • Experience of crafting, shaping, and executing on narrative strategies
  • Ability to build networks with key stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills. Used to successfully working with virtual teams and across different cultures.
  • Excellent results focus, used to juggling multiple project management, working to tight deadlines, with the ability to manage ambiguity, adapt and change plans quickly and effectively.
  • Able to navigate complex organisation matrix structures
  • Strong communication skills – verbal, written and presentation skills. Able to write clearly and concisely for a range of different channels and media. Fluent in English is a must.
  • Experience in change management and Poppulo system is desirable
