Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Labourer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for various tasks on-site, including; fitting of downpipes and guttering, installing foil and batten to timber frame building and ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely. This role requires physical stamina, a strong work ethic, working off ladders and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Perform general site maintenance and cleaning duties to ensure a safe working environment.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure workplace.
- Operate basic tools and machinery under supervision, adhering to operational standards.
- Report any issues or hazards to the site supervisor promptly.
- Maintain an organised work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a labouring role or construction environment is advantageous but not essential. CSCS Card is required.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and safety equipment is preferred.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong physical fitness and stamina, no fear of heights, capable of lifting heavy loads when required.
