We have a vacancy for a Garment Cutter, either experienced or a trainee who has an interest in pursuing this type of work as a career.

You will be part of a team with varied duties including laying up multiple types of fabric, checking for flaws, cutting fabrics against markers, before the “trimming up” of finished cut work with all designated components. In addition to actual cutting, you will be assisting with the administration of the production systems and the operation of the department including receiving incoming raw materials. Some heavy lifting is involved.
Ideally, you will have experience of both band knife and circular cutters.
You will need to be;- Practical, enthusiastic, flexible, reasonably fit (capable of lifting up to 20 kg), keen to learn and have basic computer literacy.
Full time: 37.5 hours a week over 5 days; hours of work are 9am – 5pm with overtime as required.
