The Textile Centre of excellence is pleased to offer this role on behalf of Morgan & Fenwick, a distinguished name in bespoke tailoring, offering a rare opportunity to kickstart your career in high-end garment construction. In partnership with the Textile Centre of Excellence (Huddersfield) and The Tailoring Academy (Macclesfield), we are recruiting for a Bespoke Tailor and Cutter Apprentice to join our growing team in Leeds.
Whether you're starting out or looking to enhance your existing sewing skills, this role offers full training alongside a formal Level 5 Bespoke Tailoring qualification delivered by TCoE (Textile Centre of Excellence) & The Tailoring Academy (Macclesfield)— all while gaining hands-on experience in a professional workshop.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Begin with focused training in trouser making and undercutting
- Receive practical and theoretical instruction via The Tailoring Academy
- Rotate through key areas of garment construction: cutting, coat making, and finishing
- Work alongside experienced tailors in a dynamic, supportive environment
What We’re Looking For:
- A passion for tailoring and garment creation
- Basic sewing skills and experience using an industrial sewing machine
- GCSEs in English and Maths (grades A–C or equivalent)
- Reliability, curiosity, and a willingness to learn
