Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance on garden machinery and small tools to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement effective repairs in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other team members to enhance operational efficiency and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Assist in the installation of new machinery and equipment as required.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Garden Machinery / Small Tools Mechanic or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical engineering or a related field are advantageous but not essential.
- Flexibility to work shifts as required by operational needs.
