Full-Time SEN Teaching Assistant – Start September – NW4 – £90–£100 per day
Are you a dedicated and patient Teaching Assistant with experience supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? Do you have a strong understanding of the KS1–KS2 curriculum and a passion for helping children reach their potential?
A vibrant and welcoming primary school in NW4 is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join their team from 1st September. You will be working 1:1 with a Year 5 pupil who is currently working at a Year 2–3 academic level. The pupil communicates well and presents no behavioural challenges but requires consistent academic support to help bridge the learning gap.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 academic support across core subjects
- Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated learning activities
- Monitor and report progress regularly
- Create a calm and engaging learning environment
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience supporting children with ASD in primary settings
- Familiar with KS1 and lower KS2 curriculum content
- Patient, nurturing, and proactive in approach
