The Bridge Cafe/Restaurant is an independent business situated in the heart of Bridgwater, overlooking the river Parrett . First opened in 1970, it has a history spanning half a century. A fully-licensed day time cafe/restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, cakes as well as hot and cold soft drinks.
Our success is down to our consistency across all aspects of customer service, the quality of our food and our amazing team of dedicated friendly happy staff.
We are looking to recruit a cheerful, enthusiastic and most importantly hardworking team member who will be the face of our business whilst performing front of house duties, as well as some BOH duties.
Max 21 hours per week, includes weekend work.
Hours of work are:
Varying start time (no earlier than 8.30am) - finish at 3.30pm
The applicant will be required to perform a range of FOH skills and your responsibilities will be to:
- Making drinks.
- Welcoming customers.
- Taking orders.
- Clearing tables.
- General cleaning & regular deep cleaning
- Dishwashing in the kitchen
- Basic food preperation
Experience in a busy cafe/restaurant/bar is preferred although not essential as full training will be given.
