Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our front-of-house services, providing exceptional customer experiences while leading and managing the team. Duties
- Supervise daily operations of the front-of-house team, ensuring efficient service delivery.
- Lead and motivate staff to provide outstanding customer service and uphold company standards.
- Oversee food production processes, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations and culinary excellence.
- Manage team schedules, training, and performance evaluations to foster a positive work environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Assist in bartending duties as required, maintaining knowledge of beverages and cocktail preparation.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a hotel or restaurant environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
- Knowledge of food production processes and culinary practices is advantageous.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Previous experience in bartending is considered a plus.
