We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our vibrant restaurant team. This role is essential in providing exceptional guest services and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers and guests. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills and a passion for culinary excellence, customers service skills and the ability to work in different departments based on the needs of the business.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Assist guests with menu selections, providing recommendations and upselling items where appropriate.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, ensuring all details are communicated clearly to the kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations during food preparation and service.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales using basic maths skills.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery to guests.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, providing assistance as needed to enhance their experience.

- Strong time management abilities to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
- Excellent guest services skills, with a friendly demeanour that makes customers and guests of the hotel feel valued.

- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining a genuine approach to guest interactions.
- A passion for culinary arts and an eagerness to learn about menu offerings will be highly regarded.
