Join our small friendly & enthusiastic team as a Front of House Supervisor at our seafood restaurant. We are seeking a dedicated individual with a passion for the seafood & hospitality industry to oversee our front-of-house operations.
As the Front of House supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise daily front-of-house operations, including overseeing staff and customer service
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination between front and back-of-house activities
- Train, mentor, and motivate front-of-house staff to deliver outstanding service
- Monitor dining room ambiance and guest satisfaction, making necessary adjustments to enhance the overall experience
- Implement and uphold food safety standards and regulations within the dining area
- Handle guest inquiries, comments, and feedback in a professional and timely manner
- Assist in developing and implementing new service strategies to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the front-of-house area
Skills:
- Exceptional leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing teams effectively
- Proficiency in restaurant operations, including knowledge of food production, culinary practices, and customer service protocols
- Strong aptitude for supervising staff, resolving conflicts, and fostering a positive work environment
- Thorough understanding of food safety procedures and regulations
- Bartending skills or experience is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to lead by example, inspire teamwork, and drive excellence in service delivery
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the restaurant industry
- Familiarity with front-of-house operations, including reservations management and guest relations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with staff, customers, and management

Pay: £12.50-£16.00 per hour
