Front of House Staff

Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our hospitality environment, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Duties

• Greet and welcome guests as they enter the establishment, providing a warm and friendly atmosphere.
• Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that all customer requests are met with attention to detail.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure compliance with food safety regulations to maintain high hygiene standards.
• Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining a clean and organised front-of-house area.
• Handle cash transactions and manage the till with accuracy.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any customer concerns or special requests.
• Support catering events as needed, ensuring all aspects of service meet our quality standards.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to assist guests effectively.

Skills

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential.
• Understanding of food safety practices and regulations is preferred.
• Basic food preparation skills are beneficial for assisting in kitchen operations.
• Bartending experience is a plus for establishments serving alcoholic beverages.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanour to engage effectively with guests.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• A team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall guest experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From £12.21 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 15 per week
