Overview
Calvo Loco are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.
Working hours would be evenings Monday- Saturday with 3 shifts guaranteed & plenty of extra work available.
Weekends are essential due to the nature of the role.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and positive first impression.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including dining tables and service stations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally, striving to resolve issues promptly.
- Support catering events as required, contributing to the overall success of special occasions.
- Assist with bartending duties when needed, preparing drinks according to established recipes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a busy restaurant or hospitality setting is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members alike.
- A proactive attitude towards helping others and working as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
- Experience in catering or bartending is an advantage but not mandatory.
