Position: Front of House Security
Location: James Street, York. YO10 3WW
Employment Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Safety and Security: Monitor entrances and exits, conduct regular patrols, and ensure compliance with safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for all residents.
- Visitor Management: Greet and assist visitors and residents, ensuring they feel welcome and well-informed.
- Emergency Response: Act promptly and efficiently in emergencies, coordinating with local authorities and following established protocols.
- Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or conflicts professionally, maintaining a calm and composed demeanor.
- Access Control: Manage access to the building, verifying identification, and ensuring only authorized individuals enter the premises.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service, assisting residents with inquiries and maintaining a friendly and approachable atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience in security or a similar role is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
- Problem-Solving: Quick-thinking with the ability to handle stressful situations and make informed decisions.
- Certifications: A valid security license and first aid certification is desirable.
- Availability: Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings and weekends.
