We’re looking for an energetic, proactive, and customer-focused Restaurant Supervisor to join our friendly and dynamic team at The Norfolk Mead Hotel. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering five-star service in our stunning countryside setting.
About the Role:
This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week on a 4-week rolling rota (including 4 and 5 day weeks). You’ll be based primarily in our state-of-the-art spa restaurant and coffee bar, serving everything from tapas-style lunches and afternoon teas to brunch and drinks. You’ll help lead a small front-of-house team, ensuring a calm, seamless guest experience while maintaining a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere.
What We’re Looking For:
- A warm, confident, and proactive personality – you naturally put people at ease and enjoy engaging with guests.
- High energy, a can-do attitude, and a love for delivering exceptional service.
- Someone who takes pride in the details – from table settings to the perfect flat white.
- Previous front-of-house/server experience is essential. Some supervisory or team-leading experience is preferred but not required.
- A team player who can stay calm under pressure, while keeping the vibe upbeat and professional.
- Strong communication and up-selling skills, with the ability to build instant rapport with guests.
