Description:
We are looking for a confident French translator to join us for in-person London tours. You will work alongside an English-speaking tour guide, translating the tour content into French for guests.
This role is:
- Ad hoc and flexible, based on tour bookings
- Ideal for someone looking for extra income
- Temporary, with no guaranteed hours
Responsibilities:
- Attend scheduled tours in London
- Translate spoken English into French in real time for guests
- Maintain professionalism and accuracy throughout the tour
- Support a positive and enjoyable customer experience
Requirements:
- Fluent in both French and English
- Confident in public speaking and live translation
- Punctual and reliable
- Comfortable working outdoors and walking for several hours
Pay: Competitive hourly rate, paid per tour
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £14.00-£18.00 per hour
