Are you passionate about Edinburgh and eager to share its magic with visitors from around the world?
Guydeez is seeking friendly, knowledgeable locals to lead private, personalized walking tours for small groups. No guiding license required—just your local insight, personality, and love for your city!
What You’ll Do:
- Lead engaging, customized walking tours through Edinburgh’s historic sites, cultural spots, and hidden corners
- Share stories and insights in at least one of the following: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Chinese, or Portuguese
- Tailor tours to match your guests’ interests and expectations
- Offer warm, professional service and local recommendations
- Stay up to date with events and collaborate with local businesses when relevant
What We’re Looking For:
- Excellent knowledge of Edinburgh’s landmarks, history, and local culture
- Fluent in at least one required language
- Outgoing and confident communicator, comfortable guiding small groups
- Available for tours lasting 3 to 8 hours
- Passion for gastronomy is a plus—food tours are part of our offerings
- Prior guiding or hospitality experience is welcome but not essential
