At Zest, we work with ambitious brands (especially in the facilities management space) to make them stand out, cut through the noise, and connect with their audience in a way that actually drives action.
We’re on the lookout for a freelance copywriter with flair, curiosity, and commercial thinking. You’ll help us craft high-impact copy that sparks interest, builds authority, and keeps our clients’ audiences coming back for more.
This role is flexible, remote, and project-based, but you’ll be an important part of shaping client campaigns and bringing bold creative ideas to life.
What You’ll Do
- Write compelling, on-brand copy for websites, blogs, social media, ads, and campaign assets.
- Collaborate with our strategists and designers to create content that isn’t just pretty, it converts.
- Get under the skin of each client’s brand, tone of voice, and audience, and write like you’ve been part of their team for years.
- Use SEO best practices (without killing the personality) to make sure content gets found as well as loved.
- Help develop campaign messaging and storytelling frameworks that keep our clients front-of-mind.
- Bring creative ideas to social media content that grows engagement and reach.
- When needed, support with branding materials and light visual content tweaks in Adobe Creative Suite.
- Stay plugged into industry trends, fresh formats, and creative angles, and feed those ideas into our campaigns.
What We’re Looking For
- A portfolio that shows you can write for different audiences, channels, and tones, from persuasive B2B copy to playful social captions.
- A solid understanding of branding and how to keep messaging consistent across platforms.
- Experience writing for both digital and offline marketing (bonus points if you’ve worked in B2B or FM-related sectors).
- Confident using SEO techniques to optimise content without compromising quality.
- Social media savvy, able to tailor content to the nuances of each platform.
- Comfortable with content management systems and light design tweaks in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma (not essential, but a plus).
