Best Childcare Nursery are looking to appoint a Forest School practitioner/ Outdoor Learning practitioner to support, develop and engage children and young people to realise their abilities, aspirations and make a valuable contribution to their communities through Forest School and Outdoor Learning.
This position requires a dynamic, enthusiastic and flexible person with experience of working with young people, preferably experience in the outdoors within a nursery/school. You will plan activities that are inspirational and allow children to learn and develop their self- esteem, confidence, independence and responsibility through hands on experiences in a natural environment in our Forest School.
Location - Best Childcare Nursery, Leeds, LS7 4EE
Hours - Full time with the potential to be flexible.
Hourly rate - competitive
The successful candidate will:
Hold a forest school/ outdoor learning qualification.
Have a love and passion for the outdoors in all weathers.
Hold an NVQ Level 3 childcare qualification or above.
Have previous experience of working with children.
Have a sound understanding of the EYFS.
Have a sounds understanding of how to Safeguard.
All jobs are subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
