Food Runner

We’re looking for a Runner to join our talented team at Jazz Cafe.

You’ll be a key part of our guest experience—making sure dishes are delivered promptly, correctly, and with energy and care. What You’ll Do

• Deliver food and drinks to tables quickly, accurately, and with confidence

• Be the vital link between the kitchen and front-of-house team

• Maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and organisation

• Greet guests with warmth and enthusiasm as part of the dining experience

• Support with clearing, resetting, and maintaining flow on the floor

What We’re Looking For

• Experience working in a fast-paced restaurant, ideally in a food runner or support role

• Excellent communication and time management skills

• A proactive, positive attitude and genuine team spirit
  Confidence under pressure and attention to detail, even on busy nights

• A strong desire to grow—many of our senior FOH team started in support roles

• Passion for hospitality, culture, and music

What to Expect:

• Competitive Pay: £12.21 per hour plus tronc (total package up to £13.21 per hour). Hourly wages paid every two weeks on a Friday and tronc paid on the last Friday of the month.
