Dovecliff Hall Hotel – a privately owned, beautifully restored Georgian country house nestled in seven acres of picturesque Staffordshire countryside – is seeking a talented and motivated Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our dedicated team.

The Role
As a Food and Beverage Supervisor / Junior Supervisor, you will play a key role in the daily operation of our restaurant, bar, lounge, and private dining/events. You will work closely with our F&B Manager to ensure guests enjoy exceptional service in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the F&B team during service, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
Deliver warm, attentive service that reflects our commitment to guest satisfaction
Support the training and development of junior staff and at times take the lead in implementing these strategies.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and attention to detail
Assist in stock control, ordering, and rota planning
Lead by example with a hands-on approach during busy service periods
What We’re Looking For
We are looking to recruit an aspiring individual and someone who has passion and energy to further develop and succeed within the hospitality industry.
Ideally a minimum of 2 years experience in a high quality restaurant or hotel or someone who clearly understands exceptional customer service and attention to detail.
The indiviudal must have excellent personal skills, exceptional customer service, honesty, excellent timekeeping, team player, leadership ability, pro activeness, personality a must, pride in ones appearance.
Full training and development will be given on a regular ongoing basis
All shifts from Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner would be worked and shifts varied.
Previous experience in a supervisory or senior F&B role (hotel or restaurant preferred)
A passion for hospitality and guest service
Excellent communication and leadership skills
A proactive, can-do attitude and strong team spirit
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
