We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage front of house staff, including waitstaff and bartenders, ensuring they deliver outstanding service to all guests.
- Assist in training new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and best practices in customer service.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front of house and back of house operations.
- Monitor food preparation and presentation to maintain quality standards in line with culinary expectations.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Assist in scheduling shifts for front of house staff to ensure adequate coverage during peak times.
- Support management in implementing promotional activities and events to drive business growth.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer interaction.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is highly desirable.
- Experience in bartending or managing bar operations is an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
