Henry's of Hunstanton is a busy fish and chip shop takeaway and restaurant in the heart of Hunstanton.
Although this job is a seasonal contract, there may be an option at the end of the season for full time employment.
You must have experience of working/frying in a busy fish and chip takeaway. It is a completely different environment working as a fryer as opposed to a chef, yes, kitchen experience is great but there is a difference. Full training will be given.
As a fryer, you will be working in an extremely busy environment where you need to be focused and organised. Our menu isn't large but the volume of sales are. Experience with making batter, cutting fish, frying, oil management is essential.
Other duties will include; ensuring records are kept up to date, rotating stock accordingly, food preparation at the start of the day, cleaning down at the end of the evening.Job Title: Full-Time Fish Fryer
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Fish Fryer or similar role in a professional kitchen setting.
2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
3. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
4. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
5. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects if required.
6. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
