We are seeking a dedicated Counter Staff member to join our team at Frydays Fish and Chips. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about providing excellent customer service and assisting in the smooth operation of our establishment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their orders
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Prepare food items
- Ensure adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Upsell additional items to customers where appropriate
- Handle cash transactions and operate the till with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the counter area
Qualifications
- Proficiency in basic maths for handling transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting is advantageous
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- A passion for culinary experiences and customer satisfaction

Pay: £8.60-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
