Your Role: What You’ll Achieve

At Get Set UK, we transform lives by helping people into work, and your role will be pivotal to that mission. You’ll manage key financial functions, from processing invoices and expenses to submitting funding claims and supporting payroll. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role that requires accuracy, compliance, and proactive communication.

Here’s how you’ll make an impact:

Financial Operations

  • Monitor funding compliance and audit financial records to minimise risk

  • Support internal controls and financial reporting requirements

Payroll & System Support

  • Reconcile payroll data and collaborate with HR to ensure accuracy

  • Maintain and improve financial systems; support training for internal teams

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Build effective relationships that support operational success

Continuous Improvement

  • Spot opportunities to improve efficiency and streamline financial processes

  • Keep up to date with financial regulations and funding changes to stay ahead

Who You Are

You’re a confident, accurate, and organised finance professional with an eye for detail and a passion for compliance. You might already work in a finance department, or be a finance graduate looking to grow in a mission-led organisation.

Above all, you’re a collaborative problem solver who can deliver results while keeping everything tight, tidy, and fully compliant.

Specifically, you bring:

  • Experience in finance operations (accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, claims)

  • Working knowledge of bookkeeping, audits, and funding requirements

  • Proficiency in finance software and MS Excel

  • Great communication skills with the ability to explain finance to non-finance colleagues

  • AAT part-qualified (or equivalent) or relevant work experience

  • Strong attention to detail and deadline management
