About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fenestration Surveyor with experience in aluminium window and door systems. This is a flexible, freelance role ideal for self-motivated professionals. You will be responsible for carrying out site surveys, capturing accurate measurements, and providing detailed documentation for manufacturing and installation. No office attendance is required — just reliable, high-quality site work..
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site surveys for aluminium/steel window and door installations (residential and commercial)
- Take accurate measurements and assess openings, reveals, and surrounding structure
- Identify site-specific challenges and installation constraints
- Prepare and submit clear, accurate reports with all required technical specifications
- Communicate findings with project and fabrication teams
- Ensure compliance with building regulations and safety standards
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a fenestration/window surveyor
- Strong knowledge of aluminium systems and installation requirements
- Proficient in measuring tools and survey methods
- Able to read architectural/technical drawings
- Own reliable transport for travelling to site locations across the South East
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Comfortable using email or apps to submit reports and photos
Desirable (Not Essential):
- Familiarity with slimline aluminium systems.
- Experience with CAD or digital survey software
- CSCS card or equivalent
