We are currently looking for a dedicated and compassionate night carer to join a small care team supporting a young female with complex health needs, living in an adapted annex attached to her family home in Corton, Lowestoft.
She has been diagnosed with Hypoxic-Ischemic Encephalopathy (H.I.E) and requires support with:
- Gastrostomy feeding
- Ongoing physiotherapy routines
Although she has high clinical needs and is non-verbal, she is a warm and engaging young woman who enjoys:
- Watching films and music videos
- Sensory play
- Trips to the arcades, where she can take in the sights and sounds
She lives with her sister, who holds parental responsibilities, in a supportive and caring family environment. The ideal candidate will bring not only professional care experience, but also a kind and calm approach that helps create a safe, relaxed, and enjoyable atmosphere during the night.
Key Details:
- Shifts: Waking night shifts, 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM (12 hours)
- Location: Corton, Lowestoft
- Setting: Adapted annex attached to the family home
