This is a unique and exciting post for an experienced and motivated EYFS practitioner. Working with the class teacher you will facilitate the learning for our 8 new Reception children.
The post is based in our small village school in Clapham, which is in the heart of the South Downs. We pride ourselves on our ethos, as we aim to provide the best possible education for all our children. Knowledge and experience of the national curriculum and/ the early years framework vital.

Job Details
Salary: NJC Grade 4, Point 4-5 (£24,790 - £25,183, £17,316 - £17,591 pro rata)
Contract Type: Fixed-Term with the possibility of moving to permanent
Working Pattern: 30 hours per week pro rata

All criteria are essential unless stated otherwise
- Working at NVQ level 3 in supporting teaching and learning or equivalent
- Knowledge of the national curriculum and / or the early years framework
- Knowledge and compliance with policies and procedures relevant to child protection and health and safety.
- An ability to maintain high professional standards and the ability to follow quality assurance systems
- An ability to relate well to all children ensuring that their needs are met
- An ability to put the needs of the child first
- An ability to develop effective and supportive relationships with colleagues
- An ability to be clear, concise and fluent in both written and oral communication
- Proven ability to remain calm and self-controlled under pressure, reacting well to change and remain positive at all times
- Prepared to undertake training/development as required
- Show commitment to continuous personal learning and development which supports the delivery of outstanding service
- Enjoys being outdoors
