About the Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored support to students with special educational needs (SEN) or those requiring additional assistance.
- Work closely with teachers to deliver engaging lessons and support individual or small group learning.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment to promote student confidence and progress.
- Work flexibly, with opportunities for daily supply roles or long-term assignments in primary and secondary schools across Sheerness and surrounding areas.
Key Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous experience working with children or young people (e.g., teaching assistant, youth worker, or caregiving roles) is desirable but not essential.
- A passion for supporting student development and promoting inclusive education.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in different schools and with diverse student needs.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
