Location: Barbican, Central London
Hours: Monday – Friday: 9am – 6:30pm | Occasional Saturday: 9am – 5pm

The Role
We’re looking for enthusiastic, well-presented, and reliable Medical Counter Assistants to join our team. You’ll be the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service, accurate advice, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the pharmacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers at the medicines counter, offering advice within your scope and referring to the pharmacist when appropriate
- Support all pharmacy team members in daily operations
- Manage stock levels, ordering, receiving, and merchandising products
- Handle transactions accurately and maintain a clean, organised counter area
- Answer telephone and face-to-face queries professionally
- Assist in preparing and retrieving prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
- Deliver prescriptions locally and collect from surgeries when required
- Promote pharmacy services to patients and the community
- Work independently and as part of a supportive team
What We’re Looking For
✅ Pharmacy Counter Assistant qualification (essential)
✅ Fluent English and confident communication skills
✅ IT literate and comfortable learning new systems
✅ Punctual, organised, and high personal standards
✅ Friendly and approachable with strong customer service skills
