Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. The Apple TV Content Design team is seeking a passionate and experienced strategist to join our world-class group in London. You are a brilliant strategist and creative problem solver with a passion for understanding audiences, shaping meaningful experiences, and driving impactful work. You possess extensive experience in leading strategic development across diverse initiatives within a dynamic product and services ecosystem. In this role, you’ll work closely with design, content, product, and marketing teams, as well as cross-functional and external partners, to evolve our viewer experience and drive engagement. You will influence title-level campaign development and larger initiatives that move the needle for the TV service, across APAC and EMEA and in collaboration with our partners in the US. The role will focus on cultural and behavioural insights, strategic development, campaign ideation, and executive presentations.

Description

In this role, you will play an integral part in shaping the future of the Apple TV App and Apple TV+ service. You will blend cultural, behavioural, and technological insights to fuel ideation across projects, crafting briefs that inspire meaningful work and evolve the experience our viewers have with both the service and award-winning titles. You’ll be a fountain of insights and strategic thinking, who can understand, ideate and implement quickly, independently or collaboratively. You'll touch content, innovation, and product projects on a daily basis, with your work being integral in where the product will be years from now, whilst helping contribute a growing strategy discipline. You may be required to present work to senior creative leadership, product partners, and Apple executives - articulating complex strategic concepts with energy and enthusiasm. You will collaborate with design, product, and marketing teams to concept ideas and co-direct teams to produce quality work. You will work with production and asset managers to ensure that strategic roadmaps and plans are accurate and realistic and that deadlines are met. You will possess an ability to work with global teams, across time zones, date lines and traditional routine, establishing new paradigms and ways of working. You will contribute greatly to the genesis and prioritisation of new initiatives, establishing and representing fruitful territories to explore. You will understand audiences and results and turn these into meaningful insights for our teams, helping improve the efficacy and engagement of our work, whilst enhancing the customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven communications or brand strategy experience, with a strong preference for entertainment industry exposure.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking, with proven success in understanding audience and user needs.
  • High fluency and impact in the technology and product innovation space.
  • Ability to partner with global teams across a complex ecosystem.
  • A deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative data. Using this data to inform strategy. Translating data into inspiring stories to sell in ideas and inspire creatives.
  • Strong storytelling acumen, capable of creating both inspiring and directional creative strategy.

  • A profound passion for shaping meaningful, provocative, and significant strategies.
  • A deep love for TV and Film and bringing that knowledge to the forefront of your strategic thinking.

  • Ability to author, share and merchandise ideas in a cogent and inspiring manner.
