Overview
We are seeking an experienced, highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to provide a range of high quality executive and administrative support to the Bursar and Clerk to the Governors, ensuring efficient governance and coordination.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional administrative skills and demonstrate a strong ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our office and facilitating effective communication within the organisation.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-level administrative support to the Bursar, including diary management, coordinating internal and external meetings and travel arrangements.
- Draft and prepare correspondence on behalf of the Bursar, including communications to Governors and parents.
- Maintain and reconcile expense claims and credit card statements.
- Handle phone communications with professionalism, ensuring excellent phone etiquette at all times.
- Serve as the administration liaison for the Governing Body.
- Prepare and distribute agendas and papers for the Governor meetings
- Take minutes for Governor meetings as required.
- Ensure timely circulation and approval of meeting minutes
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a PA or Executive Assistant at Director level (essential).
- Experience supporting Boards / Non-Executive Directors, ideally in a school or educational setting (desirable)
- Educated to A-level or equivalent.
