John K Philips Group Ltd are one of the longest established logistics companies in the North West, who have seen huge growth and success these past few years. We now have an exciting opportunity within our customer service team for an Excise Bond Warehouse Administrator at our brand-new sustainable warehouse in Warrington voted 'Building of the Year' at the National Sustainability Awards 2023.
Your role will primarily be to receive and process Excise Bonded warehouse related customer orders, both inbound and outbound ensuring all details comply with customs and excise controls. Additionally, to resolve customer questions & queries, work closely with our operational teams and present a “can-do” attitude to our clients, in line with our company beliefs.
Duties include:
- Admin Excellence: Accurately complete all daily warehouse bond administrative tasks within set deadlines.
- Customer Focus: Handle service queries professionally via email and telephone.
- Transport Liaison: Coordinate with the transport team to ensure timely collection and delivery of goods.
- Order Management: Allocate and release orders efficiently and accurately.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse colleagues to ensure customer orders are fulfilled correctly.
- Stock Reconciliation: Match records across the Bond Management System and WMS, resolving discrepancies.
- Reporting & Compliance: Maintain accurate documentation and generate daily reports, keeping systems in sync and compliant.
Candidate Requirements:
- Confident working with Warehouse Management Systems and bonded warehouse platforms.
- Working knowledge of WMS Experience/ knowledge in Custom and Excise desirable.
- Administration and organisational skills, with attention to detail.
- Good knowledge and experience in Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Work well both independently and in a team.
