Key Details
Salary – £9765
Job Term – Permanent, Term Time Only (40 weeks per year)
Hours – 37.5 hours per week
Location – Based at The Outdoors School with flexibility to work across Devon sites and remotely as needed

About the Role
As our Exams Officer, you’ll lead the planning, coordination, and administration of all external exams. From managing awarding body regulations to supporting learners with access arrangements, you’ll ensure every stage of the process runs smoothly and fairly- helping our learners achieve their full potential.
Key Skills and Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure exams are delivered in line with JCQ and awarding body requirements
- Coordination & Communication: Liaise with staff, learners, parents, and invigilators to maintain clarity and compliance
- Entries & Access Arrangements: Register candidates, organise access support, and manage all exam logistics
- Invigilator Management: Recruit, train, and oversee invigilators during exam periods
- Safeguarding & Integrity: Uphold exam security and promote a fair assessment environment
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and data reporting
