We are looking for a proactive Events Executiveto join the Marketing Team in our Bath/Bristol office supporting the wider business. As a law firm, we support our clients by providing a variety of advice, across several different industries. To be our next Events Executive you will need to demonstrate that you have the following experience:
- Proven experience in event management ideally within professional services
- Excellent organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
- Ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business and with external partners
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM and email marketing tools (e.g. HubSpot) is desirable.
- A team player with a proactive attitude and a willingness to get involved
Key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating the end-to-end delivery of Thrings’ events programme, including planning, logistics, invitations, attendee management, and on-the-day support
- Managing sponsorship commitments and ensure benefits are maximised, from branding to speaking opportunities
- Working with the wider marketing team to ensure event promotion across digital channels, PR, and internal communications
- Liaising with suppliers, venues and partners to ensure seamless execution and value for money
- Maintaining and updating the events calendar and associated budgets
- Supporting partners and lawyers in preparing for events, including briefing notes, speeches, and follow-up activity
- Collecting feedback and report on the effectiveness of events, identifying opportunities for improvement
- Assisting with other marketing and communications projects as required, contributing to the overall success of the team
Whilst this role is based in the Bath/Bristol office, there will be the opportunity for you to support other fee earners, based at our other offices. It’s important that you have experience of working in a client focused role, delivering exceptional client service at all times, that you’re organised, able to work at pace and deliver to multiple deadlines.
