We're now looking for a European Operations Controller to join our busy team
✅A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Ensuring that all appropriate transportation and customs documentation is created and processed timely and accurately
- Ensure that DHL service providers have agreed and sign off any contingency plan and have the correct resources available to act upon the plan.
- Liaising with carriers to ensure pre-arranged transport from the contingency plan, sourcing other carriers where required to smooth out the collection plan as much as possible.
- Ensure adherence to internal and external costs agreements and procedures, to avoid and report financial loss and or financial discrepancies
- Maintain relationships to implement and establish high, reliable on time collection and on time delivery performance and to respond to inquiries / requests of a moderate difficulty level from Suppliers, Carriers and others (internal & external).
✅THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Transport experience within a Supply Chain or Logistics environment
- Geographical Knowledge
- Proactive with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to demonstrate analytical and logical thinking
- Good degree of computer literacy, with excel, access, word and PowerPoint experience
- Excellent communicator (verbal & written)
