NHS Borders Estates & Facilities department has a vacancy for a suitably qualified and experience Estates officer to manage a range of projects to develop, maintain and upgrade NHS Borders estate. Ideally with past experience in managing construction projects within a healthcare environment..
The successful candidate will have experience in managing during periods of change, be able to work with a high degree of autonomy and can prioritise competing demands. They will be required to lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams of contractors and where applicable internal in-house estates staff.
The person will possess excellent interpersonal skills teamed with good organisational skills, assertiveness and diplomacy; with the ability to use logic to solve problems rationally and effectively and be able to communicate clearly and articulately both written and orally.
Must possess a full/valid driving licence.
