Join us as a Bank Estates Assistant and help maintain our beautiful 60-acre site, supporting children, young people, and adults with complex needs. About the Role
As part of our friendly Estates & Facilities team, you’ll assist with a variety of maintenance and groundskeeping tasks. From helping clear paths and maintain gardens to supporting basic repairs and keeping the site tidy, your work will directly contribute to creating a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment for everyone at St Elizabeth’s.
This is a flexible, bank position — ideal if you’re looking for occasional shifts or just want to lend a hand when needed.
What You'll Be Doing:
✔ Supporting with basic site repairs, painting, and general maintenance
✔ Helping to keep grounds tidy — from leaf blowing to snow clearing
✔ Moving furniture and setting up equipment for events and activities
✔ Assisting with waste and recycling processes
✔ Helping with vehicle cleaning and checks
✔ Following all health & safety and safeguarding protocols
✔ Being a positive and proactive team member
Who We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for reliable, hands-on individuals with a “can-do” attitude and a willingness to get stuck in. You’ll need to be physically fit, a good communicator, and happy to work in all weathers. No formal experience is required — just a practical mindset, flexibility, and a willingness to learn.
Please note: If you're under 18, some tools or machinery may be restricted due to safety and legal reasons, but you’ll still play a valuable role and receive appropriate support.
