We Are Hiring: ESL Teaching Roles for Beginners
Are you passionate about education and skilled in teaching English as a second language? We are seeking experienced English tutors to join our team, providing personalised English language instruction to beginners. This role involves teaching grammar, speaking, and listening skills to students who are new to the English language, in both one-on-one and small group settings.
What We're Looking For:
- Tutors who are proficient in teaching English grammar, speaking, and listening to beginners.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey English language concepts in an understandable way, particularly to those new to the language.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Work experience: Minimum of 1 year of tutoring or teaching English as a second language.
- Relevant tutoring experience: Familiarity with effective methods for teaching English to non-native speakers.
- Special education experience is highly desirable to support learners with varying abilities.
- Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin to clearly explain concepts and build rapport with students and parents.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (or higher) is preferred, but current university students with a strong academic background in English are also encouraged to apply.
- Passion for education: A genuine enthusiasm for helping students learn English and reach their full potential is key to success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised tutoring for students, tailored to their specific learning needs in English.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans focused on ESL standards.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods to best support their development in English language skills.
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to boost students' confidence in using English.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall learning experience.

Requirements:
- Previous ESL tutoring or teaching experience (minimum 3 years), especially with beginners.
- Mandrin Native Speaker
