Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational institution. The ideal candidate will possess a strong command of the English language and demonstrate exceptional leadership and communication skills. The English Teacher will also integrate IT tools to enhance the learning experience and engage students effectively.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles.
- Teach English language skills, including grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing techniques.
- Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and collaboration.
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
- Utilise IT resources to enhance teaching methods and facilitate interactive learning experiences.
- Organise extracurricular activities that promote literacy and a love for literature among students.
- Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic performance and classroom behaviour.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Experience
- A degree in English, Education, or a related field is essential.
- Previous teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in an educational setting or similar environment.
- Strong organisational skills to manage classroom activities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with students and stakeholders effectively.
