Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. Duties
- Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
- Manage daily activities, ensuring that all children are engaged and participating.
- Observe and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and adapting activities as needed.
- Lead group activities that promote learning through play, creativity, and exploration.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery setting.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.
- Ability to manage groups of children with patience and enthusiasm.
- Leadership skills to guide and inspire both children and fellow educators.
- A valid driving licence is advantageous for potential off-site activities or excursions.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early years education.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication.
