Co-Childminder Opportunity – Join Our Loving Early Years Setting

We are excited to offer a rare opportunity to join our warm, nurturing, and well-established childminding setting as a Co-Childminder / Assistant Childminder.. This is a professional-level position working alongside a lead childminder, sharing the responsibility of delivering exceptional care and education for children aged 0–5.
We are looking for a committed, creative, and experienced practitioner who shares our values of love, safety, and excellence in early years.
What You'll Do
- Plan and deliver fun, stimulating activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Provide high-quality, consistent care and emotional support to each child
- Share responsibility for daily routines including nappy changes, meals, sleep, and hygiene
- Maintain accurate observations and contribute to assessments and planning
- Create a safe, clean, and engaging environment indoors and outdoors
- Communicate effectively with parents and work as a team to maintain high standards
- Support outings, local groups, and community-based learning experiences
We’re Looking For Someone Who Is:
- Qualified to at least Level 2 in Early Years/Childcare or willing to work towards
- Experienced in early years settings (including nurseries, preschools, or childminding)
- Naturally warm, attentive, and confident in leading activities independently
- Reliable, flexible, and committed to high standards of safeguarding and care
- First Aid trained (or willing to complete training before start date)
- Confident with EYFS and contributing to planning and learning journeys
- Has a car and is willing to drive

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.50-£14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 30 per week
