Job Title: Kitchen Porter / Cleaner
Reports to: Head of Savoury
Working Hours: Varied available, potential for evening work
Work environment: Factory Based
Pay: £8 - £12.21 per hour depending on age (applicants need to be 17+ to work on our site)
Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced KP to support in our fast-paced production kitchen.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Ensure basic cleaning of equipment is carried out thoroughly and efficiently daily.
- Ensure collection of gastro trays, pots and pans from working areas.
- Keep work surfaces, walls, and floors clean and sanitised within your own area of work.
- Ensure all bins are always kept cleared and tidy.
- Ensure the refills of gloves, hand towels and liquid sanitisers are always full.
- This job requires a lot of handwashing items and dishwasher control.
- Ensure the dishwasher is cleaned at the end of each day.
- Maintain cleaning fluids and sanitiser levels correctly.
- Advise Manager of stock requirements.
- Maintaining a good standard of Health & Hygiene in accordance with Piglet’s Pantry and UK Regulations.
- Any other duties within the cleaning department where required.
