Overview
We are looking for dedicated and vigilant Door Supervisors to join our security team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing entry points, monitoring activities, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your keen observation skills and ability to respond effectively to incidents will be essential in preventing loss and ensuring the well-being of all individuals on the premises.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the venue, ensuring that only authorised individuals enter.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the premises to identify potential security threats or suspicious behaviour.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage to property.
- Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid assistance when necessary and liaising with emergency services as required.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, visitor logs, and any actions taken during your shift.
- Collaborate with management to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional demeanour at all times.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a security role or similar position is preferred.
- Certification in first aid is highly desirable.
- Excellent observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact positively with diverse individuals.
- A valid SIA licence is essential for this role.
