We have an exciting opportunity available for anyone seeking a role in the animal/pet care industry.
We recently created a brand new Dog Walking diary to help us cater for growing requests in and around the ST7 area. We’re now looking for someone to come and take it on, who we can continue to build it around.
As the diary is brand new, and therefore only has a limited clientbase, this position will therefore suit someone looking to transition into a new role over time.
The ideal candidate must live local to the area, own and be willing to use their own vehicle (5 door or larger), have a history working with animals and be able to demonstrate the following qualities;
- Confidence handling dogs of all sizes
- Confidence handling more than one dog at a time
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Excellent self-management skills
- Ability to function under pressure
- Ability to demonstrate patience
- Be physically able to achieve 10,000+ steps on a daily basis (with a full diary) in all weathers on all surfaces
- Be able to commit to an expected work day pattern of 09:30 to 15:30
- Ability to access apps used on either iPhone or Android
Qualities preferred but not essential;
- An interest in photography
Prior to starting with us, the successful candidate will be expected to;
- Consent to a DBS Check
- Sign a 'Terms of Work Agreement'
