Duties include but not limited to;
- Washing/Drying/brushing out
- Keeping the groom room tidy at all times
- Washing & Drying towels
- Getting client cards out/putting them away
- Cuddling dogs
- Deep clean after every day
- Helping out, when asked to do so
Desired Skills & Qualities
- Previous experience with dogs essential
- Experience with nervous dogs beneficial
- Experience and knowledge of cats and small mammals required
- Good communication
- Time Keeping
- Reliable
- Passion to learn and determined
- Calm nature and able to work in a busy environment
Desired Qualifications
- Applicants must not already hold a level 2 or higher in dog grooming.
- GCSE or Equivalent in English and maths grade 4/C or above desired, but not essential.
- Qualification in animal care desired
- Driving license desired

Training Provided
- Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
- The applicant will be working towards a Level 2 Dog Grooming Apprenticeship
- The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship.
