The Role
We’re looking for a Dog Day Care Handler & Driver to join us for a 1pm - 6pm Monday to Friday
You’ll spend your day driving around Edinburgh and the surrounding areas returning dogs to their homes and following customers instructions. Throughout the day, you’ll supervise play, monitor behaviour, wash dogs when needed, and keep our centre clean and tidy.
Most importantly, you’ll spend your days outdoors, working closely with our dogs — observing, listening, and ensuring they’re happy, safe and having fun.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about dogs and their wellbeing
- Confident and considerate driver with a valid manual UK driving licence (experience with a mid-sized van ideal)
- Familiar with Edinburgh’s roads (or quick to learn routes)
- Physically fit, calm under pressure, and happy working outdoors in all weathers
- Honest, trustworthy, and a great communicator
- Comfortable with both large and small dogs
- Enthusiastic, with a good sense of humour
