Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Despatcher and Fabric cutter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role both in our despatch team and cutting team. The position requires excellent computer skills, negotiating courier websites and updating our system with tracking information, accurately and efficiently. In our cutting team you be cutting fabric orders for customers with care and precision. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Handle materials with care, cutting orders and updating on the computer
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the area you work in
- Booking deliveries on courier websites and updating tracking information on the computer ensuring accuracy at all times.
Requirements
- Familiarity with materials handling techniques and equipment preferred but not essential
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
