Summary
We are seeking a Deputy Room Leader to join our dynamic team at Rainbow Corner Loseley Fields. In this role, you will support the leadership team in creating an engaging learning environment for children, helping them thrive through tailored activities that align with their individual interests.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily operations within the nursery to ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
- Support the Room Leader in implementing In the Moment Planning (ITMP) to enhance children's learning experiences.
- Engage with children through both adult-led and child-initiated activities, fostering their development and curiosity.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers about children's progress and learning journeys.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning space for children to explore.
- Participate in tracking children's progress and identifying next steps in their learning.
Requirements
- Experience in early childhood education or childcare settings is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
