Main purpose of Job
Carry out the day to day operation of the depot ensuring that all activities are carried out safely and as efficiently as possible.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting other Depot Operatives
- Keeping the site safe and tidy
- Working in depot process plants
- General duties at the depot that will include a degree of manual handling
Person Specification
- A reliable and flexible attitude is a must
- Able to work as part of the team and alone
Candidate should hold 360 Excavator ticket, CITB and MPQC qualifications.
Working hours: 49.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday between the hours of 0630-1630, including 1 hour unpaid break and between 0630-1130 on Saturdays, including 30 minutes unpaid break.
Package is: annual salary plus the 9% employer pension contribution with Scottish Widows. You may be entitled to the discretionary Annual and Christmas bonuses. Annual leave of 29 days per year, including 8 Bank Holidays. You will also be entitled to 12 Saturday holidays per year.
