Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Dental Laboratory Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be able to work independently while also being an enthusiastic team player. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys practical tasks, has a keen eye for detail, and communicates confidently with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle incoming and outgoing telephone calls with professionalism and clarity
- Use computer systems confidently for data entry, case tracking, and communication
- Assist in the fabrication of dental appliances, including retainers and other orthodontic devices
- Cast impressions and prepare models for appliance construction
- Block out models and prepare them for vacuum forming
- Operate vacuum forming machines
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Support technicians and other team members as needed

Desirable Experience (not essential but advantageous):
- Previous experience in a dental or orthodontic laboratory
- Experience casting impressions and preparing models
- Experience using vacuum forming equipment
- Knowledge or experience making dental retainers or similar appliances
